Senior Network Engineer

Projektbeschreibung
Responsibilities
o Development and support of the network environment (LAN/WAN, including Voice)
o 1st and 2nd line network infrastructure support to the Helpdesk and end users in case of non-routine problems (eg software and hardware bugs, hardware problems, configuration problems)
o Network monitoring and incident and troubleshooting
o Analyze and troubleshoot the daily network reporting
o Create and maintain standard procedures (SOP'S) on behalf of the daily operational environment to offer solutions for problems and actions that can be solved on a routine basis
o Development, screening and maintaining current and new network tools
o Initiate and cooperate in network improvement, installation and migration projects
o Write, correct and maintain the proper network documentation
o Create, test and maintain service recovery procedures and plans
Required Profile
o Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent through experience
o Advanced course work in technical systems and continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
o Experience in networking, preferably in large international environments
o Cisco CCNA or other certification is recommended
o Technical knowledge and experience to support F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager
o Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Wireless LAN
o Cisco Ironport configuration for ie cloud applications
o Other network equipment knowledge is a plus
o Able to work with network monitoring tools
o TCP/IP - VoIP
o Basic knowledge of routing protocols
o Experience with incident management of a complex network and the relevant
o network management tools
