INTRODUCTION:
Since the foundation of ITech Consult AG in 1997, we have continually extended our network of freelance computer experts. Today, we can fall back on around 20,000 qualified IT specialists (developers, system experts, project managers, support technicians and more).

ROLES:
. 40% Support Calls (Tier 1/2)
o Handle first line escalations from Service Desk
o IP Address assignments
o Switchport and VLAN assignments
o Performance and connectivity troubleshooting
o Wireless connectivity troubleshooting
. 30% Support Escalation, Advanced troubleshooting, Performance Monitoring, and continuous service improvement - (looking for someone who is motivated and proactive!)
. 30% Project based
. Daily Support for Cisco Campus Network consisting of 15 Buildings across Cambridge and Boston

REQUIREMENTS:
. Degree level education preferred in Computer Science or comparable education
. 8 Years IT Experience and Minimum 5 years direct Network Experience in a Fast Paced Environment
. Expert configuring and supporting F5 LTM and GTM appliances (a must )
. Expert Level using TCPDUMP and Network Sniffers for Advanced troubleshooting
. Expertise with Routing and Switching in Global Enterprise environment
. Hands on experience with Checkpoint Firewall/UTM
. Ability to Support and troubleshoot Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
. Solid understanding of Cisco Wireless and CISCO ASA for remote access in the Enterprise structure
. Experience in QoS, VoIP, VRF, VRRP, HSRP, STP
. Experience with IPS Technologies - HP Tipping Point
. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
. Very strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills
. Must be team oriented (mentor to junior staff, sharing knowledge, cross training, documentation)
. Experience building metrics and reporting - trending
. Ability to support on week-ends and after-hours
. Ability to travel frequently (International and domestic)
