Senior Network Engineer

Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols
- Excellent advanced knowledge of Cisco environments and technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network security appliances [PIX/ASA/Checkpoint]
- 4+ years of proven experience in designing, installing, configuring and maintaining large enterprise Cisco-based environments
- Knowledge and experience in Change Management processes
- Experience in network upgrades in large multi-campus ICT environments
- CCNP with experience in MPLS
- Extensive experience using SNMP/Netflow based monitoring systems [SolarWinds Orion, Op Manager, or similar]
- ITIL Certification will be highly regarded

Responsibilities:

- Perform and supervise installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of all aspects of the data network.
- Manage and maintain the Wireless network infrastructure and services that is within the TLC Communications Upgrade project's scope.
- Work through Incidents and Service Requests through the Helpdesk ticketing system to resolve any issues arising from the project deployment prior to handover to BAU
- Provide team leadership and guidance to Network Engineers to implement the networks and systems required in data networking- One direct Network Engineer report.
