SENIOR SUPPORT ENGINEER, SENIOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR, TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER, SENIOR SERVER ADMINISTRATOR, LINUX
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- CERTIFICATE/DIPLOMA in electronic/computer Engineering (Min qualification)
- MUST HAVE an understanding of both WINDOWS AND LINUX environments.
- Scripting capability using PERL.
- Must have an understanding of NETWORKING PROTOCOLS AND THE CONFIGURATION OF DEVICES on a network.
- Hand soldering skills.
- Use of test and measurement equipment.
- Excellent communication skills (English) both written and verbal.
BENEFICIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Rational Clear Case and Clearquest products.
- Experience with CCNA
- Understanding of PHP and SQL
THE JOB:
- Working closely with the Software teams to understand their needs and requirements.
- Management and understanding of all assets, PC's, Servers, Test equipment and measurement equipment.
- Ownership of the Management Tool including user support and updates to the tool.
- Work closely with the IT and safety teams to ensure that the facility is up to spec.
- The purchasing of equipment required.
THE COMPANY:
Our client is an expanding company based in Limerick who has a number of key clients around the world. This role is based onsite with one of their key clients in Kildare.
There are 2-6 month contract positions open and these opportunities are exclusively with FRS Recruitment. Both roles have a strong view to permanency.
