Senior MRI Radiographer, 6 - 12 month FTC, Barnet MRI

We have an excellent opportunity to join our team at our Barnet MRI Unit.

This vacancy is to work a 36 hour week, Monday through to Sunday on a 6 - 12 month fixed term contract

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of MRI Procedures effectively and efficiently catering for both the public and private sector.
Assist the Unit Manager in maintaining excellent working relationship with the Trust by providing a high quality service to both patients and referrers.

This very varied position involves:-
• Regularly reviewing and updating MRI protocols
• Adhering to all local MRI safety procedures
• Assisting in the implementation of departmental audits including Health & Safety and Infection Control
• Monitoring equipment as directed reporting any problems to senior members of staff

The successful candidate will hold a BSc in Radiography or equivalent, HPC accreditation and will have proven experience as an MRI radiographer in a dynamic unit with high patient throughput.

An understanding of confidentiality and the Data Protection Act, the ability to build relationships at a senior level, excellent communication skills both, written and verbal, flexible to the working hours of the unit, possess problem solving abilities, customer focused and the ability to prioritise workload to strict deadlines are essential.
