Senior Medical Manager - Infectious Diseases

My client in Uxbridge is currently looking to expand their Medical Affairs team by appointing a Medical Manager on a long term contract basis. This is a very exciting time for my client who are a very reputable firm within the Hepatitis and HIV areas with new products going to market in the near future.

As a Medical Qualified Professional, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Utilising a high level of business acumen, analyses and coordinates activities from identified industry trends, competitor's resources and practices.
- Establishes working relationships with key opinion leaders locally and nationally, which can influence policy and protocol position.
- Continues to have customer interaction, but less involved than Medical Scientists and over a wider geography
- Acts as a medical resource for the company with EMEA management, marketing, medical, and clinical research departments to support the promotion of the product and corporate research and development.
- Develops and reviews complex ethical promotional materials and strategies in conjunction with the EMEA marketing department.
- Interfaces with groups of experts, medical professional groups, societies, regulatory groups and represents the company at international scientific meetings.
- Analyses complex trial data and provides interpretation to marketing and sales departments.
- Answers and coordinates complex responses to clinical inquiries or disclosures to customers.
- Manages and controls activities with external suppliers and trains sales force at the regional level
- Is responsible for maintaining complex medical documents and files.
- Is responsible for maintaining oversight and supporting ex U.S. global Investigator Sponsored Trials.
- May organise and participate in advisory panels and key conference activities.
- May assemble and manage key opinion leader advisory groups
