Senior Mechanical Engineer / Solidworks / Marine

Senior Mechanical, Engineer, Solidworks, Marine, ISO:9000, 3D CAD I am currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a globally recognised organisation based in Hampshire. Salary in the region of £40,000. You will be working for a organisation whose products are used around the world, on land and sea. Anywhere where safety is important you will find their products. This role will involve someone going in who hit the ground running. It will involve you taking products from concept through to manufacture. You will be working very closely in a multi-disciplined team and will have a lot of input as to how future products are designed. With this in mind they are seeking someone who can think outside the box and bring valued ideas to the table. The ideal candidate would be someone from a Marine background but isn't essential. To be considered for this position you should have experience in: - 3D CAD packages (ideally Solidworks but not essential) - Developing products for harsh environments Any experience working to ISO:900 and/or ISO:9100 would be highly desirable but again not essential.
