We seek a seasoned IT Manager for a major television network for a contract to hire position in Los Angeles, CA. Do you have application development team management experience in the cable, broadcast network and/or entertainment industries? Do you have excellent communication skills and easily build rapport and respect with stake holders? REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 10 years of IT leadership experience
- 5 years of experience managing application development teams (Microsoft technologies - .NET, SQL, etc)
- Experience in the cable/broadcast network industry
- Experience working with business users to define systems that lead to increased efficiency and productivity
- Familiarity with various software development processes: Waterfall, UML, RUP, Agile, Extreme, and their areas of application.
- Experience managing large (matrixed) teams across multiple, long term efforts
- Experience with Products and Rights systems, Sales systems, and AR systems
