Senior Machine Learning Expert/Data Scientist - Contract - Dublin

My client is a multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company that is pioneering new business and software architecture to support next generation products and solutions. They are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Expert toapply data mining, statistics and machine learning to understand and predict customer behavior, customer loyalty etc. You will be responsible fordeveloping machine learning models to improve customer satisfaction and building scalable predictive models.

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in Data mining, Machine learning, Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative discipline

5-10 years' experience with predictive analytics/statistical modelling/machine learning such as Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, K-Nearest Neighbors, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, Gibbs Sampling, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, Deep Belief Nets, RBMs etc

Very strong mathematical and statistical background

Expert in at least two of the following programming languages: Scala, Python, Java, C++ or R

DESIRABLE

Proficient with big data systems and methodologies: Spark, Hadoop, Cascading, Hive, Pig
