Senior Latam Credit Risk Analyst

I am currently recruiting a Senior Latam Credit Risk Manager. The opportunity is located inNew York Citywith a global investment firm. This individual will perform in-depth credit analysis in order to analyze and issue written reports on the risk of new transactions, present reports to senior management, and maintain internal rating database for emerging markets. They will be tasked with maintaining a timely view ofLatin Americarisk management functions, while monitoring economic developments in this area emerging market. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze credit risk in the corporateLatin Americaportfolio by engaging Front Office groups proposing the transactions. - Draft credit opinion documents reflecting an independent point of view on risk and return. - Actively participate in credit committee meetings. - Maintain freshness and accuracy of internal ratings on Latin American credits. We are seeking a risk management profession with least 7 years' experience in corporate credit analysis within a financial institution and/or rating agencies. A strong knowledge of Latin American economies, and emerging markets with an emphasis onBrazilare a must. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese with working knowledge of work excel and Bloomberg systems.
