Senior Laboratory Operations Partner (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Partner with DTAs and Global Functions’ scientists to enable the establishment of novel laboratories, with a focus on R guide the CAPEX process for novel equipments over an appropriately defined threshold and coordinate a regular InvestForum across experts to drive alignment and recommendations; own the CAPEX tool as an expert Service Manager
- Coordinate laboratory installations for new and re-purposed equipment and scientific devices and ensure its planning and asset lifecycle management are adequate and in line with the company's guidelines, current regulations, compliance, biosafety hazards, etc
- Act as a Business Process Owner for the Scientific Equipment Database (SED) and its global implementation and, where applicable, scaling at the company's enterprise; identify opportunity areas for process and data improvement; ensure Customers’ buy-in and adoption at scale (Note: connections to ASPIRE will be explored and implemented as needed)
- Support the Lab Manager community on laboratory devices service, maintenance, pooling/ moving and refurbishment activities, when needed and appropriate; ensure adequate digital solutions are in place and contribute to its adoption by the scientific community

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Educational background- Minimum Bachelor degree within Life sciences discipline (Masters also accept no PhD)
- Previous experience as a research associate working in a laboratory (academic experience counts)
- Experience within laboratory management or as a laboratory project manager or laboratory operations manager
- IT skills- Solid level of understanding with informatics tools, databases and resources
- Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and German
- Soft skills: collaborative, communicative, previous experience in a matrix environment, well structured and organized
