A top investment firm in downtown Boston is seeking a Senior Java Developer to develop code for web based applications supporting the investment process. The primary application development will be around a web-based order management system being developed in-house. You will be working in a fast-paced environment supporting department applications and carrying out programming functions. This is a senior role in which you will be needed to mentor junior developers, work directly with business analysts, and meet with Project Managers to design applications. Key Requirements Include: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field - At least 5 years of experience with Java, preferably experience with J2EE, Javascript, WebSphere, and Struts - Preferred previous experience in the financial sector - Strong experience in Sybase, Oracle, or Unix - Strong Object Oriented programming experience
