Rate - €450 - €600/day
Location - Brussels or Antwerp, Belgium
The Role
Scala or Senior Java Developer
If you're an experienced Scala or Senior Java Developer thinking about finding your next mission and would like the flexibility of working from home up to 2 days per week as well as working in a team where your creative input will have a real impact then this role is for you!
The company are a high potential technology company creating a sustainable energy market. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company who genuinely cares about their staff and is expanding rapidly.
You
You will play a crucial role in innovative projects, working alongside key stakeholders and will be able to work across the site planning and through to the build stage.
Key technologies:
*Expert knowledge of Java is required
*Experience with functional programming is required (Scala, Haskell, Java 8 )
*Expert knowledge of Scala, or the intention of quickly building up such knowledge
*Basic knowledge of Linux is required
*Knowledge of Akka, Kafka, Cassandra, AngularJs, Python is a plus
Education:
*Master in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Civil Engineering or Applied Engineering ("Industrieel Ingenieur"). Other exceptional candidates with proven track record will be considered.
*Dutch speaking preferable.
Background
This role is due to growth within the company and as a Scala or Senior Java Developer you will come on board for the development of both brand new and existing Scala or Senior Java Development projects.
It's an exciting time to join as this is a role where you will have real influence over the direction of the product!
Rate - €450 - €600/day
