Senior Java J2EE Developer/Engineer
A leading Bank are seeking a talented Server Side Developer with experience delivering rich Internet applications across both mobile and web channels. You will join a team of similarly experienced Developers charged with rolling out brand new websites and transactional apps to a large client base.
To be successful in this role you should have previously delivered a number of high availability, client/customer facing rich Internet applications, ideally across desktop, mobile and tablet.
In doing this, you will have acquired the following skills- - Excellent OO design and development using Enterprise Java technologies (J2EE, Struts, Apache Tomcat)
- A knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (REST, SOAP etc.)
- Data integration using JSON and XML
- A knowledge of common build and CI tools such as Maven, Ant, Jenkins etc.
- An advocacy for test driven development
- Experience using OO Javascript (not just JQuery plugins), HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle
- Some experience with popular web CMS platforms such as Adobe CQ would be beneficial but not essential
