Senior JAVA & Front-End Developer

One of our clients, active in the Financial sector, is looking for Java Developers with experience in Front End development: You will participate in the design, development and testing of a new solution, for a huge project aimed to develop a new solution with modern web interfaces.

Place of work: South of Brussels
Initial contract duration: 4 months
Extensions possible: yes (1-2 year view on project)

The requested skills are:
- Strong Java development experience ( 6 years): web applications, Weblogic, Spring, JDBC, Tomcat, REST
- OO programming techniques
- Design patterns
- Experience in GUI
- Experience in Web Application Server
- Experience in developing portals for B2B users
- Experience in working in Unix/Linux Tomcat/HPUX environments.
- Good web Front End development skills (HTML/CSS/JS, Angular.js)
- Clearcase/GIT are a plus- Experience in GUI

The candidate should have a minimum of 6~8 years professional experience.

Skills required.

OO programming techniques, Design Patterns. Strong Java development skills including Java Enterprise technologies, Spring, JDBC, JMS/MQ. Strong Web development skills including AngularJS, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, XML, REST, JSON, SAML. Knowledge and use of relational database related technologies (Oracle, SQL).

Exposure to various OS platforms: Windows, UNIX (Solaris, HPUX), Linux (RedHat). Exposure to configuration management and source control tools (ClearCase, GIT). Experience with TomCat 7, JBoss Fuse an asset. Experience with MapReduce, Hadoop, Shibboleth, Jersey an asset. Experience with Continuous/Automated build, integration, deployment, testing an asset. Experience with Shell Scripting (ksh, AWK, Perl) an asset
