Senior JAVA Engineer

My client is a growing and future-oriented IT service company that produces banking software. The banking system supports universal, private and transaction banking in efficient process management. In close cooperation with its customers they develop new solutions and innovative banking applications.

To strengthen my client's SCRUM-Team, I am looking for a

Senior JAVA Engineer

TASKS

- Member of developers in one of the Scrum teams
- Analysis, design and implementation of new requirements in JAVA as well as maintaining the architectural standards of the system
- Implementation of automated tests (functional testing, performance testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing)
- Maintenance of existing components (including code reviews, refactoring, and other similar activities)
- Definition and implementation of actions to improve performance of the modules (including usability, scalability, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience in developing web applications based on

JAVA / JEE

- Full understanding of JEE APIS (JPA, JMS, JMX, JTS, JDBC) and relational databases (SQL)
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of software engineering.
- Knowledge in development tools (build tools, version control, IDE, static code analysis, Profiler) and have a solid experience in design methods, such as UML
- Experience with Hibernate, Spring, Web Services, Vaadin, GWT, andOracle PL/ SQL is prefarable
- Completed university degree in computer science or a related field
- Very good communication skills
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) and at least advanced in German
