Senior Java Developer, Trading, Banking (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, an international bank based in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for a Senior Java Developer to work on a project in Zurich.
They are looking for the ideal candidate to start ASAP until 31st of December 2016.
The developer will work with traders, business analysts, and other developers to engineer low latency, high throughput trading systems.
The entire team will create and improve the libraries and frameworks upon which the clients trading applications are based, and develop new tools and services.
The team will then capture business requirements and design innovative solutions.
In order to be considered you will possess the following skills:
- Core Java & related utilities/libraries, particularly collections, Multithreading (Java.util.concurrent.* package), JSON, JDBC, Maven
- Principles of Object Oriented programming, interfaces, abstractions, dependencies, etc.
- Spring Framework, JDBC templates and JPA, Messaging and JMS
- Experience in Hazelcast and Elasticsearch is a plus
- Previous ActiveMQ hands-on experience is a plus.
- Relational database modelling
- Test Driven Development. JUnit and mocking libraries (eg, Mockito) are beneficial
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
