Senior Java Developer - New York City Bank - Full-time - 130k

My client, a major investment bank in New York City, is in search of a java expert to join its ecommerce IT team. This position will report to the shared services and architecture team, specifically in the Information Delivery Bulk team. The team is responsible for reporting/file transmission based frameworks, applications and services and have a significant client facing component. On a day to day basis, this developer will be a hands on developer and will need to design, code, and lead a team of developers to execute projects. This senior developer will need to interface with BAs and project managers to understand requirements and report status. Requirements: - 8 - 10 years of java / j2ee experience - 1-2 years working on reporting systems is preferred - Recent Hands on Experience with JMS, Spring, Hibernate - Solid SOA vision - Experience building systems from back to front end - Excellent communication skills! - Previous experience working with off-shore teams on projects - Experience with Business Objects is preferred This is a senior level role and the ideal candidate must be well versed in java and object oriented programming as well as being a great communicator and leader.
