JOB DESCRIPTION: The main function of this position will be to develop and design web applications and websites. A typical Analyst/Developer is responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise the design, build or maintenance of websites, using authoring or Scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
- Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content
- Direct website updates
- Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem
- Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
- Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
- Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent training required

SKILLS:

- Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Java, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL, REST, JSON, Jersey (Required)
- Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software (Required)
- Expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Required)
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
- Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)
