Senior Java Developer Financial Services - Dublin

SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER FINANCIAL SERVICES

Design and development of new applications as well as integration solutions for an IFSC based financial services organisation. With a number of business critical projects to undertake this small development team is seeking a Java contractor that will be able to add value rapidly.

Help define and specify new applications, estimate the work involved, design solutions and deliver applications into production as part of a small team of software engineers.

Full stack development using: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, WebSphere, Tomcat, XML, SQL, Oracle, RESTful, SOAP, ESB.

ROLE/OPPORTUNITY:

- Contract Senior Java
- Financial Services sector (previous FS experience not a pre-requisite)
- Design and development of core business applications
- Full stack development in an Agile environment
- Technical environment: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML, WebSphere, Tomcat, XML, SQL, Oracle, RESTful, SOAP, ESB, ETL tools.
- City centre location
- 6 month rolling contract - likely to extend beyond a year

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 6+ years Java design and development
- Spring, Hibernate, WebSphere, Tomcat, XML, SQL, Oracle.
- Knowledge of RESTful or SOAP based web services
- ESB Experience an advantage (Web Message Broker an advantage)
- Experience in database Design and Stored procedure development
- Understanding of design patterns and usage

RATE:

- Euro 430-450 per day
- 6 month rolling contract
- Dublin city centre (IFSC)
