My Client require a Senior Java Developer with strong development experience in Core Java to build there next generation online travel search platform. They have grown the amount of daily offers from 20 million to 40 million of a three month period and aim to grow this again by 60 million in January.

The technology stack incorporates a Solr-based index, a Java-based middle-tier, and a Python / Django-based web front-end. The role will primarily focus on the Java layer mediating between Solr and the front-end. Strong core Java is essential, while experience with Solr is a plus but not required.
