SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER - DUTCH SPEAKING

Whitehall Resources have an excellent opportunity for a DUTCH SPEAKING Senior Java Developer to work with our client in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

WORK DESCRIPTION

Works well in a team and independently on the development of services that are implemented using Java. The activities cover a wide range of specification, design, to implementation, testing and documenting. We work in agile manner in a continuous integration environment. The team with the development of the Java development practice and architectural development is also part of the work

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERTISE

Linux/Unix and Shell Scripts;
Java development;
Java/OO design;
UML 2;
Broad and deep knowledge and experience with Java libraries and toolkits;
Specifying and documenting software;
Design and development of services in an SOA environment with Messaging and ESB;
XML, XSLT 2, XSD;
Continuous Integration (CI) and Maven;
Agile.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERTISE (PRE)

Software development in operational/industrial environments;
Java libraries and frameworks: Spring, JMS, JAXB, JDO, Junit, Drools, Vaadin, GateIn;
XML related: Relax-NG, XQuery;
SOA related: SOAP, HTTP/rest, Mule, ActiveMQ, HornetQ;
Application Servers: Tomcat, JBoss;
Development tools: Eclipse, SVN, Bugzilla, Poseidon, Oxygen;
CI tools: Hudson/Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar;
Documentation standards and tools: J-STD-016, WikiMedia, Latex.
