FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS

Have you created novel software solutions? Do you enjoy working in a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment? Are you comfortable with the Front End and Back End development of a Greenfield project?

If so, an exciting opportunity, as a Senior Java Developer has been created from a partnership between SafariMobile, one of the UK's leading developers of mobile communications' technologies, and the University of Westminster. This role is to further develop the company's adedge product a cutting edge communication and marketing platform. This will be used by a variety of B2B and B2C businesses both here in the UK and internationally to help them communicate and interact with their clients and potential clients in existing and new markets.

Working closely with a dedicated Digital Marketing Strategist you will work as part of a small commercial and technical team to develop the technical specification and build the adedge platform.

The output from the project will be a world class leading communication platform that has excellent brand penetration as well as recognition from customers and competitors as a technically superior product. The newly enhanced platform will result in increased revenue, market penetration and profits growth for the company.

Ideally, you will have a degree in a computer science or a software engineering subject or equivalent experience.

This role is part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) and as such you will have continuous support from the University of Westminster. For further details of KTPs see the website of KTP

Salary of up to £45,000 dependent on qualifications and experience plus the potential for performance related pay.
