A leading online company based in Dublin city centre are hiring for a Senior Java Engineer.
This is a contract position paying a top daily rate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
- Minimum of 5 years Full time development experience
- Excellent understanding of ObjectOriented Programming
- Significant Java experience
- Deep understanding of web technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with a Scripting language such as Ruby or Python
- Comfortable with Linux
- Experience optimizing or administering any DB platform (brownie points for PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Spring MVC & Spring JMS
- Knowledge of continuous integration and the tools used to implement this, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- In depth experience with JBoss, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
