Senior Java Consultant

The contract is with a consultancy to be on assignment to a large European site in Brussels as follows:

Within the framework of this project, the unit wishes to use the assistance of a Senior Consultant for the following tasks: support as expert the development team. Mentor and guide other developers; provision of advice and assistance in area associated with maintenance, deployment and hosting; elaborate and propose the unified technical requirements in IS development cycle for the units JEE applications in accordance with the Sysper2architecture; disseminate best practises; functional requirements and business case analysis; assistance with the implementation of the architecture; implement business rules using JEE (EJB in particular), XML and SQL; implement SOAP-based web services; unit test and validate the changes, support assembly testing; support the resolution of production issues through development activities; perform code reviews.

REQUIRED EXPERTISE:

Java technologies: JSP, EJB, JDBC, Struts, Spring, Junit, FOP, Hibernate; Key Technologies: XML, XSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax (Dojo), SOAP.; Databases: Oracle 11, SQL, PL/SQL; Application Servers: Oracle Weblogic 10; Tools: Ant, Maven, IntelliJ Idea, Eclipse, Rational Team Concert (RTC); JEE and OO design patterns; Extreme programming techniques; Ability to read and understand UML diagrams; Experience in at least one large project.
