For a client project we are looking for a
Senior IT-System Administrator / IT-Service Desk Engineer/ Specialist (m/f/d) – Edinburgh, Inverness

Skills/Tasks:
• Experience with multinational Europe based companies (preferred)
• Experience with international personnel
• SPOC (single point of contact) for end users- and devices
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance of IT equipment (client hardware)
• Error analysis, troubleshooting and documentation (client hard- and software)
• Warranty processing (client hardware)

Services (On-Site and On-Call) (Office and remote users)

• Identification and request of permissions (qualification of request)
• Training & instruction of end users for common systems
• Set up, configure and equip workstations & Mobile devices for personnel
• System monitoring and data maintenance

Consulting & Procurement

• Recognize and define requirements (User consultation)
• Budget Planning (IT equipment)
• New / replacement equipment and consumables
• Definition, negotiation and administration of telecommunications contracts
• Material management (IT equipment)

Relevant systems and manufacturers

• Recognize and define requirements (User consultation)
• Microsoft Windows 7, 10
• Microsoft Office & Office 365
• Microsoft Sharepoint
• Microsoft Teams
• Apple iOS
• SAP Mobile
• IBM Notes
• Dell

Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
