Senior IT Security Specialist - Longford - Contract - November Start

My client, a leading state funded organisation are currently seeking to recruit an experienced IT Security Specialist on a long term project, based in Longford and working towards a November start.

Responsibilities:
- Advise Senior Management on ways to prevent IT Security breaches.
- Monitor & maintain Internet & Email within client users.
- Responsible for the management of IT Threat & Vulnerability.
- Responsible for IT Security policies.
- Install security infrastructure & assess threats & risks.
- Responsible for all problem management & attend meetings on such.
- Liaise with 3rd party users as required..

Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Technical experience within Windows O/S, Windows Server, IBM Lotus Domino and various network security technologies..
- Experience in working within a secure environment.
-5+ years' experience within a similar position.

*This position is a long term contract, based in Longford.
Some travel may be required at times.

Salary DOE.
