Senior IT Project Manager - Risk Models/Credit Risk (3978)

For a project at our client, an international banking cooperation based in Zurich, we are looking for a SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER - RISK MODELS/CREDIT RISK (3978).

You'll be working in the IFRS 9 team in Zurich. IFRS 9 replaces the IAS 39 Incurred Credit Loss model with a new, forward looking, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model for certain financial assets. It requires the recognition of an expected credit loss allowance throughout the life of instruments in scope.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8 YEARS+ EXPERIENCE AS PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT LEAD WITHIN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
- Experienced working in a similar position before
- EXPOSURE TO AND KNOWLEDGE OF RISK TOPICS (RISK MODELS AND CREDIT RISK IS IDEAL)
- EXPERIENCE IN REGULATORY PROJECTS
- Test Management skills
- Experience working with Credit Loss Models (IFRS 9 or IAS 39) would be advantage
- Green or a black belt six sigma certification
- Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- Expert at building networks and connections
- Very good command of written and spoken English

YOUR ROLE:

- Run projects from A to Z along recognized project management frameworks
- Partner with experts across the organization
- Act as the SME on the IT side of the IFRS 9 project
- Think strategically, making business cases that hold up over the long term
- Manage the staff of a project team
