SENIOR IT BUSINESS ANALYST (PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, UML, BANKING)

For one of our clients in the Banking sector in Zurich we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support initiatives in their Portfolio Management, Investment Planning and Advisory process areas. The main initiative is part of the company digitalization strategy and the goal is the establishment of a new investment advisory process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Eliciting and analysing business requirements
- Writing business and technical specifications
- Close collaboration with business and IT teams (business stakeholders, developers, project managers, etc.)
- Supporting development team with logic, design, application architecture, testing
- Finding solutions to business problems and modelling them
IDEAL PROFILE:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis/Business Engineering in the financial sector
- Deep knowledge of banking processes and financial products
- Strong knowledge in Portfolio Management and Portfolio Optimization
- Extensive experience with requirements engineering deliverables
- Strong modelling skills, experience using UML is a must (activity diagrams, Business Object models, etc.)
- Development background would be an advantage, ability to read Java code would be a plus
- Previous experience with Agile projects
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated
- Fluency in English is a must, German is an advantage
