On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for a SENIOR IT APPLICATION PROJECT MANAGER WITH BANKING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Successful delivery of IT Projects while complying with regulations program (FIDLEG/MiFID II).
- Ensuring exemplary overall project performance and implementing corrective actions against deviations.
- Organizing all projects and initiatives in an effective and timely manner.
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Over 5 years of experience in project management within the banking/finance sector.
- Expertise in application development projects.
- Excellent understanding of large IT organizations and their characteristics.
- Experience in the delivery of IT projects within budgets, schedule, scope and quality while complying with regulations in scope.
- Knowledge of
- Regulatory topics
- Standard IT project methodologies (Agile or PMP Certification preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
