Senior Investment Trust Accountant - Fund Accounting - Investment Trust - Accountant - London

An internationally recognised Asset Management/Asset Servicing company is looking to recruit a Senior Investment Trust Accountant with a strong background in UK Fund Accounting and UK GAAP.

This role has come about due to an increase in Trusts being added to this business area and will be a 6 month contract based in Canary Wharf with the possibility of extension.

Main duties:- - Provide technical support for the NAV calculation and fund accounting processing functions
- Complete monthly audit reviews to validate the accuracy of accounting records
- Supervise and monitor the production of accounts, board meeting information and other ad hoc information by Investment Trust accountants. Perform reviews and sign-off of information in accordance with control procedures
- Prepare/review income forecasts
- Prepare/review ad-hoc reporting and calculation requirements in support of Client fund requirements in accordance with SLA standards

Key skills required

- Strong reports/forecasting reviewing experience
- Strong UK GAAP knowledge
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Previous experience of managing one or more Investment Trusts
