SENIOR INTERNAL AUDIT/COMPLIANCE - EDINBURGH - 12 MONTH FTC

A wide ranging opportunity to join a large financial services in Edinburgh. Working within their Group Internal Auditing function you will help consult and challenge senior stakeholders across the wider business on risk, regulatory change as well as the planning, execution and delivery of the groups internal audits. The position will also involve a lot of senior management interaction across the business as well as occasional trips to London. Initially the position is for a 12 month fixed term contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Make appropriate risk inputs in the planning and conducting of audit work
- Provide findings to risk function to improve risk management
- Evaluate processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Planning, performing and reporting internal audit reviews.

KEY SKILLS

- Qualified Accountant
- Internal Auditing experience (External audit experience will also be taken into consideration and won't be discounted)
- Strong knowledge of the life insurance industry, products and regulations
