Senior Infrastructure Architect/Data Centre Technologies. Financial Services. Geneva. Switzerland. Microsoft Server, Networks, Cisco, Windows, Dell, Security, Firewalls, Virtualisation.
My client are a global commodities trading company with 30+ offices worldwide. Due to a large investment in their technology portfolio and a huge infrastructure transformation programme, they have an urgent requirement for a Senior Data Centre Architect.
The Architect will be the global Data Centre Design Authority and take ultimate responsibility for the design and delivery (from a technology perspective), of a consolidated, yet global, data centre footprint across 4 continents.
The successful candidate must have experience delivering architectural definition for large-scale Data Centra solutions, preferably within a large financial services or telecommunications organisation. You'll be experienced in both strategic planning and operational data centre consolidation and delivery. You will have excellent communication skills, excellent technical skills, the ability to manage a small team of hands on engineers and be willing to work on a contract basis in Geneva, Switzerland at least 4 days per week.
The role is working with excellent people, in a world-class team, offers a market leading day rate + all accommodation and travel and significant possibility of long term extension.
Successful candidates must be in possession of a current EU passport.
