Senior HSEQ Coordinator

Progressive Global Energy are working with a multi award winning international service company in Aberdeen in sourcing a talented and experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor.

The company have a set up a new division within the organisation and are putting together a new HSEQ team to drive this area of the business forward. Your role would be second to that of the HSEQ Manager with a team of subordinates reporting underneath you.

JOB ROLE

* To proactively assist in the maintenance, awareness and development of the QHSE Management Systems and to provide Information, advise and support to the operating departments within this Area.
* To provide effective management of the QHSE Team
* To monitor and report on all aspects of QHSE matters within the UK Area operation
* Liaise with all Departments and functions to ensure that QHSE management systems and legal requirements are exceeded or complied with
* Provide a high safety profile by conducting audits, regular tours, inspections, spot checks of facilities and communicating QHSE matters with all members of staff or contractors
* Ensure the efficient collation and maintenance of QHSE records as required by QHSE management systems
* Ensure the provision of training (from course development, training needs analysis, and records management)
* To actively participate in the development of the QHSE management system

JOB CONTEXT

* Reporting to the HSEQ Manager on all aspects of the HSEQ management systems.
* Review and record any HSEQ non-compliance and suggest possible improvement or preventive measures as appropriate.
* Maintain good communications with the HSEQ Manager and the HSEQ Team to advise on any issues requiring attention.
* As required to represent company at various client meetings, forums and reviews.
* Be in attendance at Customer 3rd party HSEQ audits and assist management as required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

* Must be able to take a lead role with regards to supervising of the HSEQ Department and decision making in the absence of the HSEQ Manager
* Trained and experienced Internal HSEQ Auditor
* Trained and experienced Lead Assessor
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience with HSEQ Management Systems
* Conversant with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
* Conversant with Quality Management systems and their operation
* HSEQ incident investigation training
* Good understanding of HSEQ Management systems, Group procedures, policies and processes
