IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Understand, promote and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and policies in undertaking all activities. Liaise with regulatory bodies to assure our client is compliant with mandatory regulations
-Proactively keep up to date with all latest developments and new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all legislation and any developments that affect the project’s business activities
-Assure project team is kept aware of SHE requirements and that health and safety is a priority for all project team members
-Fulfil SiGeKo or SiGeKo-coordination functions,carry out SHE reviews and inspections (coordinated as well as spot inspections)
-Participating in Design Analysis, Document (e.g. Drawing) review, HAZID’s Design Reviews, SchuSiKo, HSE-Plans and equivalent documents
-To provide support to assure that Safety is “designed in” and that defects and deficiencies relating to Safety and other potential losses are identified and any risks are suitably mitigated to ALARP
-Assist in the preparation and review of contract documentation and scopes of work and in the selection and SHE management of contractors
-Providing the lead role within the project to request all necessary documentation packages for fabricated items / services contain all the relevant design safety elements and periodic review records which are required to gain system or product compliance
-To verify the contractors Safety Health and Environment plans asuring compliance to relevant legislation
-Preparation and dissemination of all relevant SHE documentation, development of appropriate safety standards, reporting and information chains and emergency management

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Safety Engineer (Diploma or Master level TU) and Expert for Occupational Health (FaSi-certificate acc. §6 ASiG or NEBOSH Level 4)

or comparable -Experience as SHE manager in offshore business
(must have) -Marine management experience obtained at a senior level in an offshore construction environment
-Professional experience and understanding of how marine construction projects are managed
-Proven ability in influencing design and construction contractors to manage the construction and operational risks to ALARP
-The ability to lead or chair phased structured reviews for projects from a SHE perspective at project milestones
-Fluent German and English language(verbal and written)
-Knowledge of relevant legislation for environment protection and health and safety (on- and offshore)
-Capability certificates: DGMM and G41, G26.3

(must have) -First Aid Offshore, Sea Survival and HUET, PSAgA certificates
