Senior Fund Accountant

My client, a prestigious Asset Management client based in London are currently looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to assist and support the Migration Project Manager, as part of a Migration workstream, to migrate Fund Accounting processes from one provider to another. The Senior Fund Accountant will work closely with Senior SME's to focus specifically on operational Fund Accounting processes of specific Fund. The Senior Migration Analyst will be required to work through Migration event dates, which could mean weekend work.

The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for;
- Assisting with the collation of issues raised throughout the Migration of Investment and Fund Accounting Migrations
- Managing the interaction of service providers, in order to resolve issues
- Monitoring the performance of service provided, ensuring it meets the Service level agreement

The Senior Fund Accountant will be required to have excellent technical knowledge of Investment & Fund Accounting, ideally working in an Operational role in previously.

Skills and experience required:
- Strong operational Investment & Fund Accounting Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Asset Classes and Investment Vehicles
- Experience work effectively with third parties and ability to work collaboratively with them
- Experience working and participating in large Investment & Fund Accounting Migrations

The client is looking to pay £500-£700/day and has a significant chance of contract extensions, post the initial 6 months.
