Senior Frontend Developer/Coach (Brussels)

Je functie: Our company is actively renewing its digital channels and has started many strategic and challenging projects. Next to some major technological changes our company has decided to step into the Agile and more precisely SCRUM software development methodology in order to improve its agility and reduce time to market without scarifying quality.

Function description
As a senior Frontend engineer you will bring JavaScript development and design skills to enforce the group of developers within a SCRUM-team for a greenfield project. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of our company's digitalization journey.

As part of this role you will:
- Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
- Develop and unit-test
- Perform peer code review when needed
- Mentor the development team to ensure high-quality code delivery
- Actively participate into the SCRUM-team's activities
- Continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)

Je profiel: Skills and certifications
- Proven JavaScript experience, in particular with AngularJS on multiple projects.
- CSS: Twitter bootstrap / LESS experience
- Good understanding of REST architectural style.
- Understanding of OO design and functional programming practices en design concepts.
- Frontend engineering patterns & best practices.
- Continuous integration best practices in general, and specific to JavaScript (SCM, build automation, unit testing and dependency management).
- Experience with BDD, TDD or similar approaches in an Agile/SCRUM environment
