We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer in WI

SOW SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

The contractor is to work on HPC. They will be responsible for coming up to speed on the High Performance Controller and writing unit tests and validating them in python.

Will be primarily engaged in writing and validating unit tests. It is important that the contractor understand C++ and have the ability to understand domain specific code in order to write and validate effective unit tests. S/he will be expected to occasionally interact with teams in Mequon, Mayfield Heights, and Cambridge (Ontario), and less frequently in Singapore, and Mumbai (India.)

SOW REQUIREMENTS, DELIVERABLES, AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

Deliverables and acceptance criteria will be discussed during the meetings.

CPD process and documentation should be followed.

They will be Embedded into an active Scrum team per the HPC firmware process. S/he will be expected to adhere to proper procedures and meet all acceptance criteria. This contractor may shift between scrum teams  depending upon the workload.

MILESTONE AND SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS

Milestones and Schedule will be discussed in meetings. It is expected that the contractors shall meet their commitments per the Scrum process.

This SOW will go for six months, with one month notice for another six month's renewal.

STAFFING SKILL-SET REQUIREMENTS/STRATEGY

Resource allocation for this project would be on Time & Material basis.

Expect 3+ years of Embedded fw engineering with an emphasis in test development.. Experience with C++ and python required.

DEVELOPMENT TOOL EXPECTATIONS

Tool chain will be Green hills, Clear Case, Clearquest Doors, Code collaborator, Lint, and python.

Onsite tools for GreenHills and the rest of the tool chain will be provided by Rockwell Automation.

COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS

Daily communication with team stand-up meetings

Communicate in meetings by voice and email

Scrum meeting
