Senior Financial Analyst - Shared Risk

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the monthly management of the Shared Risk financial activity and Analysis, provider incentives, claims analysis, journal entry preparation, accounts analysis, month-end reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting tools for contracted Participating Provider Groups (PPG) for all product lines of business. Interfaces and serves as liaison with multiple departments.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Finance with Knowledge of accounting, and a minimum of 4-8 years HMO experience. Must have strong HMO Health Care Industry Knowledge

PREFERRED:
Capitation experience
QNXT experience

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Strong accounting skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and excellent database skills.

PREFERRED:
Medi-Cal, Medicare and MHC Knowledge preferred.
