Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Manage all business unit activities and provide financial and operational support to the organization, including oversight of the preparation of operating budgets and annual and strategic operating plans
-To achieve and maximize business objectives, you will develop financial vision and strategy
- Assist in the execution of all tasks required to achieve the company's mission and establish policies
- Lead reporting related within the company, as well as for external financial reporting, including responsibility for filing financial documents with the appropriate authorities
- Ensure that monthly and quarterly financial reports are prepared and in conjunction with this, be responsible for appropriate reporting to authorities and assist with external reviews and audits
- Responsible for ensuring that the required SOX complaint procedures and internal controls are in place
- Ensure that financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS
- Advise and guide the global finance and leadership teams on financial strategy
- Present a summary of financial business drivers and messages, as well as required presentations to provide visibility of financial results and clarify understanding of the
- Accountability for the forecast, including development of the cost model and illustration into annual changes to the model
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting annual product costing updates, as well as identifying and evaluating business impact across the product portfolio through financial partnerships

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Relevant experience ideally in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Ideally experience in a senior management position
- It is an advantage if you have already worked in a start-up or fast growing company
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Excel, and experience with Oracle preferred
- You have excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills
- Your strengths include: Ability to work in a team, self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills
- You speak fluent English and German
