Senior Finance Manager - Fully Qualified

My client, a large public sector organisation, is currently looking for a fully qualified senior finance manager to join their team in Sheffield. The role will be within the company's banking department.

Responsibilities:

This role will be working closely with the Director of Financial Planning which is a business critical financial function. The job holder will be responsible for working with the Director Financial Planning to ensure that the Bank has robust modelling/forecasting capabilities to support decision making both at Board and product team levels.

The role will include:

- Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Developing forecast scenarios to aid strategic decision making
- Modelling the future Balance Sheet and Income & Expenditure Statement in conjunction with the Financial Accountant
- Support the Director of Financial Planning on the development of Business Cases and Change Initiation in liaison with product teams

Experience required:

- Qualified Accountant (CCAB)
- Forecasting experience in a complex and dynamic environment
- Business partnering to influence budget/expenditure control through timely interventions
- Some experience of managing budgets and forecasts in the context of Parliamentary and Departmental spending controls would be desirable

The role is being offered on an initial 1 year contract.

The role is paying a maximum of £480/day.
