Senior Finance Analyst

A new exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to work for one of our larger utility clients based in Coventry.

Duration: 12 months+
Start Date: ASAP

Essential Skills:

*Experience at senior level as a Finance Analyst
*Commercial and Energy Trading background
*Investment and Financial Appraisals
*Industry qualifications: ACCA or CIMA or Finance Analyst Diploma or equivalent

Role:

*This role requires a specialist who is able to financially appraise wind farm development projects for investment and divestment. In addition the role requires risk identification and quantification of operational and project risks.
*Detail Lead and co-ordinate the economic appraisal of investments and divestments, and ensure the production of quality Gate papers that clearly capture and assess the risks, upsides and economics for European wind projects.
*Provide commercial advice and guidance on investments, contracts, acquisitions, Joint Ventures and disposals.
*Closely monitor and report on investment KPIs of a wide range of European wind projects.
*Identify, assess and propose mitigation of key business risks for the European Wind Businesses Provide governance on Risk management and Credit support.
