Senior Exploration Geologist

An internantional mid sized operator who has both domestic and international assets is looking for a highly skilled Exploration Geologist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working international deepwater and enjoys an exciting challenge. Responsibilities Work complex Angola-related projects. Candidate will lead wellsite maturation projects and play an integral role in well operations support. * Participates in sub-regional context setting and evaluation * Identifies and ranks exploration prospects * Leads the well planning process * Identifies, defines, and recommends incremental opportunities * Integrates geological work with geophysical and reservoir engineering analysis * Liaises with partners and other parts of the organization * Provides input into the generation of initial appraisal plans for future developments * Evaluates well data and integrates data into regional and sub-regional interpretation * Mentor junior level geologists Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.
