Excellent opportunity for DWH/ETL Developers and Senior Developers to work on a long-term (12-24 months) project with a large IT company. Candidates must be German speakers
Job description:
The DWH/ETL Solution Developer has full accountability for the logical design and execution of DWH modules and ETL processes in the context of projects of various sizes, taking into consideration the business-related and technical requirements. He develops the physical design of the DWH database and implements the ETL/ELT processes.
Qualification, skills and experience required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
Oracle Certified Professional or similar title
Relevant certification in OWB and ODI is a plus
At least 3 year of experience as Oracle DWH developer
At least 3 year of experience in the implementation of ETL processes with OWB or ODI or several years of experience with another ETL tool
Knowledge of Datamodelling in the DWH context as well as the utilization of Oracle tools as well as Toad are an advantage
Knowledge of Hermes is a plus, as well as relevant experience and certifications
Duties and responsibilities
Analysis of the data sources, data profiling
Logical and physical design of the DWH in the 3rd normal form and of the staging
Definition of standards for data extraction and archiving of extracts
Design of the ETL/ELT processes:
Analysis and documentation of the source data
Design of the interfaces (extraction, load)
Design Source-To-Target Mapping including Business Rules and DQ Checks (Transform)
Definition of the standards for the general achieving
Design of the Auditing system
Implementation and optimization of the ETL/ELT processes
Implementation of the Historic and Incremental Load
Implementation of the Job Scheduling
Implementation of the Auditing Systems
Design and implementation of the Data Marts
Design and implementation of BI applications like Reports, Dashboards, ad-hoc analysis tools (SAP BO) and similar
Design and implementation of BI applications like Crystal Reports
Support of the project manager in the estimates and planning
Languages required
German and English are essential
