Senior Engineer - Technical Safety & LQ

Senior Engineer - Technical Safety & LQ sought for a long term assignment for an Energy sector client based in Arendal, Norway.

In the role of Senior Engineer you will be responsible for the coordination and operational Engineering tasks within the Technical Safety & LQ sections and will work on the following activities:

- Planning & documenting hazard management and working environment processes
- Liaising with relevant safety authorities
- Producing drawings, specification & other design documents
- Participating in the procurement process (follow-up suppliers, participate in FATs)
- Participating in site installation and commissioning
- Coordinating the development and submittal of relevant design documentation to Class, Yard and Sub-suppliers

The technical areas of responsibility are:

- Area Classification
- HVAC
- Passive & Active Fire Protection
- Escape, Evaluation and Rescue
- Emergency Shut Down (ESD)
- Fire and Gas Detection (F&G)
- Accommodation Design (architectural)
- Working environment issues in design.
