You'll be part of a business which operates in many sectors including Renewables, Transport and Infrastructure to name just a few. As Senior EIA Consultant your role will involve managing and coordinating EIA projects in any of the various sectors that this business provide solutions to. Where possible, you will be able to angle your career in the direction of your choice - essentially adding value to the areas you have strong commercial experience with. As part of the Senior EIA team your role will require you to support the directorate throughout the business, offering knowledge to stakeholders at every stage of the development lifecycle. Other responsibilities may also include: - Regularly liaise with EIA & Planning team - Respond to planning conditions - Be confident in providing guidance on EIA issues to external clients - Be comfortable in a project management-type environment - Produce Scoping Reports - Evaluate Environmental Statements You will be able to provide tangible evidence of your excellent working knowledge of EIA best practise - ideally your experience will have been gained in a consultancy based organisation. If you have experience working in different sectors this will also strengthen your application. You will also be degree educated in a relevant discipline (environmental sciences etc). If you have membership of an environmental professional organisation then again, this will increase your chance of being invited for interview.
