Senior Development Engineer "Control Software" (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Work within a project team responsible for the full range of activities associated with the development of control software used in AC motor drives and/or grid-connected converters
-Analyse the system to be controlled, define and clarify required tasks as well as ensure effective execution of projects – on time and in budget
-Developing simulation models and simulator environments
-Contribute to the control software testing to ensure defined quality standards are met
-Solve challenging control problems and also solve on the customer’s premises

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Completed studies in the field of electrical and/or software engineering
-Good knowledge of power converters and motor drives
-Demonstrable understanding of control theory, including theoretical analysis and controller design
-Experience in MATLAB/Simulink and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation
-Knowledge of real-time software development with C, C++
-Excellent command of English, knowledge of German would be beneficial
