DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a Senior Developer with expertise with OpenROAD and Ingress to support our client with enhancing and maintaining an existing application. The successful candidate will design, code, analyze and debug information systems applications as well as serve as a development expert for our client and their vendor.
The current environment is OpenROAD 3.5 and Ingres 9.2, so experience with these versions is preferred, however OpenROAD 6x and Ingress 10x will also be considered.
The successful candidate must be a team player and follow the documented development processes.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in design discussions
- Implement and unit test code
- Deploy the code in local environment
- Conduct load testing for performance tuning and scalability
- Support for post-production phase
- Extensive experience analysing, designing, developing, and testing applications in Enterprise level environments
Duties also involve working with internal and external stakeholders and functional teams to determine requirements, testing, documentation, integration and system administration. Development and integration is performed in a fast paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and working as part of a broader team to deliver capabilities on time is essential.
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- 3+ years of OpenROAD 3x or higher
- 3+ years of Ingres 9x or higher
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with source code management system
- Fast Learner
- Strong analytical skills
