For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
SENIOR DESKTOP CONFIGURATION ENGINEER (CONTRACT)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Configure, manage and support Group Policy in a desktop environment, AppSense infrastructure and configurations for desktop
- Optimization of the build (performance improvement speed loading applications, login times, vulnerability management etc)
- Act as centre of competence for other teams (product management, operation team)
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate degree
- 6 years+ relevant experience in design and deployment of complex MS solutions in large, global environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Client Environment and of integrating Clients systems with other core infrastructure components
- Thorough knowledge of Windows 7/10
- Skilled in configuration setting and write own functions in Powershell or VBS
- Good knowledge of AD/GPO, Appsense Environmental Manager
- Good understanding of MSI and packaging methodologies
- Good understanding of WMI
- Committed, reliable and strongly professional candidate requested
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Start ASAP
- Contract duration 6 months (possible extensions, project duration minimum 18 months)
- Location Zürich
- All incl. rate CHF 800
