Senior Design Engineer - West Yorkshire - £35,000 to £40,000 This client are leading engineering and technology provider in the field of advanced machines and drives systems. They have pioneered the development and application of their own technology and are now the world leader in this area. They are currently seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join their team at their offices in West Yorkshire. You must be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with experience working with rotating machines. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will have a number of key responsibilities to include: -Developing 3-D conceptual designs according customer specifications -Progressing existing concepts to a fully detailed design suitable for manufacture -Whilst taking a lead in a variety of mechanical engineering activities, to liaise with other departments in the development of new designs and improvement of existing products -To supervise the assembly and testing of prototype electrical machines You must have: -Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering discipline -Sound understanding of fundamental engineering principles and their practical application -Knowledge of 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Pro Engineer, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Inventor etc) For consideration, please send your up to date CV to Mudiwa Mtungi at Huxley Associates
